Q7) Is caffeine safe? Will it have any side effects?

For most healthy adults, the recommended safe dose of caffeine is up to 400mg per day, which is approximately equivalent to 3 to 5 cups of coffee daily. However, individual responses to caffeine can vary. People who are not regular caffeine consumers tend to be more sensitive to its effects.

Some signs that you may be consuming too much caffeine include headaches, insomnia, jitteriness, nervousness, frequent urination, and a rapid heartbeat.

Children should avoid caffeine, and pregnant women are advised to limit their caffeine intake to less than 200mg per day, which is approximately equivalent to 1.5 cups of coffee or 7 cups of green tea.

Q8) Why use freeze-drying technology for GojiGarden Coffee?

Most of the instant coffee available on the market, including Starbucks' VIA instant coffee, is produced using the spray drying method. Spray drying is a process that involves spraying liquid coffee concentrate into hot air, turning it into fine coffee powder. This method is efficient and cost-effective.

Coffee produced through spray drying is in powder form, has a darker color, and a more bitter taste. In contrast, freeze-dried coffee has an irregular crystalline structure, which effectively preserves the coffee's aroma and flavor. Freeze-dried coffee, as it is not subjected to high-temperature processing, can better retain nutrients. Whether it's black goji berries or coffee beans, both are made using the freeze-drying method.

Another characteristic of freeze-dried coffee is that it dissolves easily, so you can even dissolve it in cold water. Enjoying a glass of iced instant coffee on a hot day is both refreshing and delightful. Although freeze drying offers many advantages, it is less commonly used in the coffee industry due to higher costs, making such products typically more expensive.

Q9) How many calories are there in a sachet of GojiGarden Coffee?

Each sachet of GojiGarden Coffee contains approximately 8 calories.

Q10) Can I mix GojiGarden Coffee with hot water?

Yes, you can mix GojiGarden Coffee with hot or cold water. Feel free to use water at your preferred temperature.

Q11) Will GojiGarden Coffee clump?

GojiGarden Coffee may occasionally clump because it does not contain silicon dioxide to prevent clumping. However, any clumps that may form do not affect the product's nutritional value.

Q12) What is the difference between black goji berries and red goji berries?

Black goji berries differ from red goji berries in several ways, including their antioxidant activity and nutrient content. Black goji berries have higher levels of monomeric anthocyanins, total phenolics, and other beneficial plant compounds compared to red goji berries.

Q13) Why are black goji berries more expensive than red goji berries?

Black goji berries are a rare plant species native to the Himalayan Mountains in Central Asia. They are challenging to cultivate and only grow at high elevations, typically between 8,800 to 9,800 feet above sea level. Additionally, the bushes are thorny, making berry harvesting a difficult and specialized process, often requiring tweezers. All these factors contribute to the higher cost of black goji berries.
